Teen bullying and teasing and the recent horrifying stories of teens/young adults committing suicide because of it, like Rutgers University freshman Tyler Clementi. Breaks my heart.
I'm sure Rosie is devastated about the recent Rutgers tragedy. She takes those things to heart. I really missed hearing her opinions on lots of stuff...Colbert...Lohan etc. And thank goodness there is this blog,so I can....Thanks!
How did she enjoy explaining the Britney episode of Glee when watching it with her kids. I mean I love Glee, but geez - I'd personally like to erase the images of butt sweat stains and that Jacob kid in the bleachers from my mind forever.
I want her to talk about her contemplating closing down the AskRo section of her blog........I and the rest of her fans would be very very very sad :-(
Good point Rebecca. Did you happen to see the Madonna episode with them in bed singing Like a Virgin? That was even worse for the eyes and ears of children.
Toddlers displaying autism and getting someone to make a diagnosis to get services to get them help at an early age. It is so frustrating! Jeannie would be very helpful on this subject too as I am sure many of her clients are diagnosed.
WOW! Thanks for all the great comments and keep em coming!
As for me, I would love to hear her discuss the bullying story/suicide of the Rutgers student, the 3000th View, Glee, any movies she's seen, the RBK Gala (I think they raised over 1 million that night alone!), any Oprah Winfrey Network updates, the Daily Show's Rally for Sanity and the documentary Teenage Paparazzo! I'm sure there's more too I just can't think of them right now.
I'd love to hear about Glee, Dancing With The Stars (Rosie's take on Florence Henderson), the RBK gala, what they did during the two weeks, and the tragic multiple suicides of bullied gay youth.
Looking forward to tomorrow's show and your recap Kelly! Hope you have enjoyed your time off too!

ReplyDeleteI can't wait to hear the reaction to the gay adoption ban being overturned in FL.

ReplyDeleteI second the motion of discussing the recent teen suicide and the accountability of the students posting his intimacy over the internet.
ReplyDeleteI have just miss my Rosie Radio and can't wait to hear her on Monday
ReplyDeleteI'd like to know what she thinks of the first few episodes of Glee.
ReplyDeleteShe said she was returning the first day of school - the 7th I thought. I'm happy if it is Monday though.

ReplyDeleteAs the mother of a college freshman, the story of the Rutgers freshman has haunted me. I'm another listener who would love to hear Rosie's comments.

Wait, what did Elisabeth say about Rosie on the 3000th episode? - Not to sound gossipy, I just didn't see it. ;-)
