Jeannie's Heath Bar Cake Recipe!

1 Chocolate cake mix
1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk
1 small jar butterscotch topping
12 oz. whipped topping (i.e., Cool Whip)
4-5 Heath or Skor bars, chopped

Prepare cake according to directions on the package and bake in a 9 x 13 pan.
While still hot, use a wooden spoon handle to poke holes in the top of the cake. Pour condensed milk evenly over the top, then pour butterscotch topping evenly over that. Sprinkle half of chopped Heath bars over the top. Refrigerate at least 3 hours.
Spread whipped topping over cake, then sprinkle with remaining Heath pieces.

  1. That looks delicious, a hot cup of coffee and it's perfect! I love baking and my kids' favorite is chocolate cake. Sometimes I also use chocolate cake mix when I don't have enough time to bake cake from scratch. The kids doesn't really notice the difference anyway, lol, as long as it has frosting, they're happy about it! :)

  9. you're welcome! I served it right from the pan... much easier. I suppose you could take it out but it is kind of a messy cake. enjoy!

  10. Made this today - for those with nut allergies, I used chocolate chips, butterscotch chips and crushed oreo cookies...I can't say if it was as yummy as the heath bar version, but it was pretty darn good!! p.s. I made an Egg free chocolate cake too - very allergy friendly :)
